Diplomas and certificates obtained in Romania will also include the level of qualification starting with the new school year, announced the Minister of Education, Daniel David.
The move will help Romanians who want to work in European Union countries and who will no longer have to prove their qualification level with other documents, he added during a conference at the Victoria Palace.
"There are eight levels of qualification. Once you have passed the qualification level on your diploma, when you take that diploma to any country in the European Union, no one will ask you to prove your qualification level with other papers and other evidence, because it is clearly stated on the diploma, and that means that access to the labor market is much, much easier. In a way, this initiative is also a result of the European Commission's policy, and I believe that our initiative will help Romanians who want to work in European countries to integrate much more easily and simply into the labor market, avoiding a bureaucratic process of certification, recertification, and confirmation of studies completed in the country", said Daniel David.
The Minister of Education, Daniel David, also specified that the framework plans for secondary education will be put up for public consultation by next week at the latest.
