According to the Basin Water Administration Jiu, Danube flow is continuously increasing.

Dolj prefecture informed that Danube waters already flooded over a thousand acres of land in Rast, Catania and Bistret.
At Răcari Station, Jiu River came out, Friday night at 21:00, under the red alert code.
Waters poured in recent days flooded over 20 households, four bridges and nearly 3,000 acres of farmland.
Waters began to recede in the area.
Currently, the two county roads covered few days ago are opened for road.
Dolj Firefighters used a pneumatic motor boat to evacuate two people and 17 animals isolated at the forest canton of Zaval.
Dozens of other people were mobilized to evacuate water using pumps and to build dams of sandbags in the affected areas.
By Saturday evening, remain under the code orange rivers Crasna, Bârzava, Moravita, Jiu and Prut.
An orange code of flood warning is effective on the Danube River, between the Iron Gates and Zinicea.
