Ciolacu: Digitalization of the administration will bring substantial savings to the budget

In the future, Romanians will be able to access all public services digitally, with a single click on their phone or computer.
On Wednesday, the contract for the realization of part of the government cloud project, worth 100 million euro, was signed.
Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said that digitization of the administration will bring substantial savings to the budget, but also efficiency, because bureaucracy and queues at the counters will disappear.
Marcel Ciolacu: The digitalization of the administration is among the most important things, because it will prohibit institutions from putting Romanians on the road or turning them, as you do now, into couriers. By signing this contract today, all the public services offered by the institutions will be in one place, and Romanians will be able to access all digital public services with a click on their phone or computer.
Through this digitization process, the Romanian state buildings will be equipped with this state-of-the-art technology and the databases will be interconnected and much more secure.
