Access to the IT infrastructure of the National Administration "Romanian Waters" is gradually being restored after the cyberattack on December 20. Water resource monitoring, hydrotechnical infrastructure operation, and flood forecasting and defense activities are proceeding normally, administration officials emphasize.
An investigation into this cyberattack is underway after approximately 1.000 IT&C systems were compromised, the National Cyber Security Directorate announced.
