20 orders to remove material online

20 orders to remove illegal content online were issued by the National Audiovisual Council this week.
They include videos and other messages aimed at misinforming users, posted on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and X.
NAC also sent these platforms requests to close the accounts from which the messages originated.
The removal decisions concerned, among other things, material with explicit calls for violence against members of the Central Electoral Bureau, disinformation, racist, anti-Semitic or xenophobic content.
The Council reminds that anyone can report illegal online content by filling in the petitions form on its website.
