The Romanian Judges Forum organization reports serious problems in the judicial system

The Romanian Judges Forum association reports serious abuses in the judicial system, as well as orchestrated attacks against magistrates who have made disclosures related to problems in the justice system.
The organization said in a statement that, in recent days, the public space has been flooded with individual attacks by members of the Superior Council of Magistracy and controversial websites against the Judges' Forum and magistrates who have criticized the way in which the president of the High Court, Lia Savonea, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the heads of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate and the General Prosecutor's Office run the judicial system.
The association considers that these attacks are synonymous with a harmful assault on the rule of law and legitimise the rapid promotion of legislative reforms for the proper functioning of justice, in the interests of citizens.
The Romanian Judges Forum Association is one of the organisations that has taken on the reform of the judicial system.
