The government adopted the ordinance on the basis of which it will draw up the state budget for next year. The meeting began almost two hours late from 6:00 p.m., when it was initially announced.

Reporter: The so-called "Little Train" emergency ordinance provides for the freezing of state pensions and salaries next year at the level of this year.

The minimum wage in the economy will increase from July 1, 2026 to 4.325 lei, when the amount of money for which income tax and social contributions are not paid will decrease from 300 to 200 lei.

Energy vouchers of 50 lei will be granted next year as well.

The national program "Healthy Meal" for preschoolers and students in state pre-university education units has been extended until the adoption of next year's budget.

In the area of ​​taxes, the corporate income tax will decrease from 1% to 0.5% next year and will disappear in 2027, and the income of micro-enterprises will be taxed at a flat rate of 1%.

The construction tax, the so-called pillar tax, is also being eliminated.

Also next year, the monthly amounts of money that parliamentarians, political parties and national minority organizations will receive will decrease by 10%.
