The largest multinational exercise in Europe is currently taking place at the Cincu training ground, in Brasov County, with artillery from the United States Army.
The action aims to test NATO's regional plans, as RRA correspondent Adrian Carneciu found out: "The Cincu training ground, in Brasov County, is hosting the multinational exercise "Dynamic Front 26" until Friday, February 13. It is taking place simultaneously in several allied states and is considered a major test of how NATO forces can act in a coordinated manner on the eastern flank, in a complex security scenario, characterized by the need for a rapid and integrated response.
Romanian and Polish HIMARS launchers, as well as self-propelled howitzers deployed in Romania within the multinational battle group, participated in the Cincu firing, as explained by American Captain Jugler.
Capt. Jugler: This exercise trains our ability to make all systems communicate with each other, which is essential, because it allows us to send fire missions to the platform that is in the best position to execute the strike.
Structures from the United States, Romania, Poland and France are participating in the activities at Cincu.”
