Government analyzes economic recovery measures within the Tripartite National Council

The government is analyzing, with employers and unions, within the Tripartite National Council, economic recovery measures, the restructuring plan in the administration, but also the general lines of the state budget.

Intensely discussed in recent months, the administrative reform developed by the Executive involves reducing the number of occupied positions, increasing efficiency and optimizing budget expenditures.

This will be complemented by the project to prohibit the accumulation of pensions and salaries for state employees. On the other hand, the economic recovery plan, proposed by PSD, comes to balance the austerity measures or the reduction of budget expenditures.

The unions in the administration criticize the reform in the field on the grounds that it lacks transparency and affects the rights of employees, and the employers have advanced their own solutions for economic recovery, without which the layoffs will continue, they draw attention.
