Energy Minister Requested Rescheduling Government Debate

Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan requested the rescheduling of the Chamber of Deputies debate on the issue of drinking water supply in Arges County for February 16.

He claims that he cannot participate on Monday due to imperative and unforeseen personal reasons.

Previously, he had announced that he would comply with the USR request and that he would discuss with representatives of Hidroelectrica, which is subordinate to the ministry and administrator of the Vidraru reservoir, in order to establish the necessary measures to resolve the situation.

We recall that the Vidraru reservoir was emptied for modernization works, and tens of thousands of residents of the Curtea de Arges municipality and neighboring localities have not had drinking water for more than three months.
