The general director of the Tarom company, Bogdan Popescu, has resigned

The general director of the Tarom company, Bogdan Popescu, resigned only two months after his appointment, the representatives of the Ministry of Transport stated for RADIO ROMANIA NEWS.

The resigned director, who came from the private sector, had been appointed in October and had among his objectives the completion of the restructuring plan, a rescue program for the company which was agreed upon following negotiations with the European Commission.

Bogdan Popescu will temporarily lead Tarom in the first days of next year until a new director is appointed, a decision that rests with the Board of Directors.
