The Constitutional Court rejects objections to the private pension law, except for the paragraph concerning cancer patients

A single paragraph of the private pension law was declared unconstitutional today by the Constitutional Court, namely the one stipulating that cancer patients will be able to receive all their money in a single withdrawal.
The court's judges say that this exception violates the principle of equal rights, as it establishes discrimination on subjective criteria.
All other objections raised by the High Court and AUR were rejected by the CCR, which considers that setting the payment rule at a maximum of 30% in the form of a single withdrawal, before the start of monthly payments, does not violate property rights nor does it discriminate between those who have already benefited from full payment and those who will be subject to the new rule.
