The 2025 revenue and expenditure budget of the National Forestry Administration - Romsilva was approved by the Government. Expenditures on goods and services decreased by 5.3% compared to the previous year, while bonuses decreased by almost 60%. For this year, the Administration did not foresee an increase, indexation or other mechanisms to increase salary expenses.
On the other hand, the Romsilva reform, which mainly provides for a reduction in the number of directors from 99 to 12, and the forest monitoring projects will be sent next week to all approving institutions, the Minister of Environment announced. Also at Thursday's meeting, the Executive also approved the budgets of Metrorex, of the National Road Infrastructure Management Company, and of the Autonomous Administration of State Protocol Heritage.
