Technical measurements show “safe operation of Paltinu dam”

The Chamber of Deputies will hold debates on Monday during the “Government Hour” after the AUR group requested that the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, clarify the situation of the water crisis at the Paltinu dam.

Meanwhile, the Romanian Waters Administration announces that technical measurements show the dam is operating safely, and images recently published in the public space reflect normal behavior of the construction during the cold season, without infiltrations or damage.

Tens of thousands of residents in Prahova and Dambovita were left without drinking water for a week following the works at the Paltinu reservoir, with delivery set to resume only on Monday.
