Romania will receive the third payment tranche of the NRRP next month

Romania will receive on 10 June the third payment tranche of the National Recovery and Resilience Program, amounting to €1.3 billion.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Finance, who said that the money will help to balance the state budget.
Tanczos Barna is attending the meeting of EU finance ministers in Brussels, where they are discussing, among other issues, the VAT rate for online transactions and the defense financing system.
On the other hand, the finance minister stressed that Romania needs a tax reform, but an interim government has neither the prerogatives nor the mandate to discuss such issues with the Commission or society.
