Repair work on the Bulgarian side of the Friendship Bridge has been completed

The repair works on the Bulgarian side of the Friendship Bridge over the Danube between Ruse and Giurgiu were completed today, around noon, the neighboring country's authorities announced.

Thus, traffic on the bridge between Romania and Bulgaria was resumed under normal conditions, in both directions.

Next, Romanian border police recommend citizens to use other existing border crossing points to avoid crowding, as well as the online traffic application, available on the Border Police website.

It is recommended to prepare the travel documents in time, in order to shorten the control time.
