PSD: Budget will pass “only if it includes our proposals”

The projection of budget allocations for this year seems to have once again intensified tensions within the coalition. In recent days, the Social Democrats have launched new criticisms of the government, and the Liberals have asked their PSD partners to decide whether they are in government or in opposition.
PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu stated on Thursday that the deadline for the consultation process within the party regarding remaining in the coalition and the form in which their participation will continue is precisely the completion of the budget draft.
Sorin Grindeanu: With the budget, we will vote in which we will choose what we were telling you earlier. The budget is not necessarily a simple table, we look at income, expenses. The budget is the mirror of a political vision and this political vision in a coalition cannot be only on one side, only on the right. If you want and wish to have the PSD as a partner, you must also include in this budget the left-wing views represented by the Social Democratic Party. And to be even clearer, there will be a budget voted in parliament either with the proposals coming from the PSD or that budget will not be voted.
