Pro-European parties agree on a plan to reduce the budget deficit

On Wednesday evening, at the Cotroceni Palace, independent MPs concluded a series of informal consultations on the country's economic and political situation, initiated by President Nicusor Dan.
In a statement, the Presidential Administration said that delegations from the pro-European parties, PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR, and representatives of national minorities, emphasized that they understand the seriousness of the budget deficit situation and expressed their joint commitment to contribute to identifying responsible solutions.
A first meeting of a technical group set up for this purpose was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
The action plan will be developed in parallel with negotiations for the formation of the new government.
