Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan met with the Speaker of the Republic of Moldova's Parliament, Igor Grosu, at the Victoria Palace.

The two officials discussed the political situation in Chisinau, following the recent parliamentary elections in which the Action and Solidarity Party - a pro-European party - achieved victory.

The two also addressed issues regarding the continuation and expansion of cross-border connectivity and cooperation projects, the intensification of bilateral economic relations, as well as Romania's firm support for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
