President Nicusor Dan, attending the NATO summit in The Hague, met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
The head of state wrote on social media that they discussed the close relationship between Romania and the United Kingdom as strategic partners and allies.
He gave assurances that he would continue bilateral cooperation in the field of security and defense, together with close coordination on hybrid and cyber threats, with a particular focus on the Black Sea region.
President Nicusor Dan will also have a bilateral meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel on Wednesday on the sidelines of the NATO summit. Short discussions with other member state leaders are also possible today.
