President Nicusor Dan promulgated the law by which the provisional protection order is extended by law until the resolution of the application in the first instance.
According to the new rules, if the aggression was committed by a person who previously violated another protection order, the special limits of the punishment are increased.
Upon the expiration of the duration of the protection measures, the protected person may request a new order, if there are indications that in the absence of such a measure, the life, physical or mental integrity or freedom of the protected person could be put at risk.
At the same time, in the case of physical aggression against a family member, the withdrawal of the criminal complaint has no effect, the law also states.
