Localities in Prahova, affected for almost a week by the situation at the Paltinu Dam, will be refilled with water, currently strictly for sanitary groups. Refilling the systems began on Friday night, at 11:00 p.m., but water will reach the taps of the first citizens only on Saturday morning, the president of the County Council said, since it concerns approximately 700 km of network.
According to the Public Health Directorate, at this time, the water complies with the physical and chemical parameters, but the results of bacteriological analyses are still needed. In the meantime, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan asked the Minister of Environment to complete the report on the situation, because in that preliminary report there was no data related to the responsibility for operating the Prahova zonal system.
It will be known exactly who is to blame for this serious situation by Wednesday at the latest, the head of the executive said.
