If the current majority coalition will remain on the defensive, it will make a serious mistake, says Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, present on Friday in Ploiesti, at the meeting of the National Union of County Councils. He added that both PSD and PNL have committed a series of political mistakes, which they have managed to overcome, but not for their own interests, but so that Romania can face the current domestic and international conjuncture.

From the government's point of view, the absolute priority is the implementation of the projects of the NRRP, but there is also a need for an administrative-territorial reorganization and a reform of the budgetary system, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu added.

Marcel Ciolacu: "There are projects, reforms and investments. Reforms, of course, have to be carried out at government level, investments are the responsibility of certain ministries and can be made directly by ministers, and, also, they have to be implemented with local administrations. Very many of them, especially in education and health, are in close collaboration with the presidents of the county councils."
