In Iasi county, schools, high schools and kindergartens will be closed today due to bad weather, snow and blizzards. Hours will be made up later. The decision was taken yesterday evening by the members of the Iasi County Committee for Emergency Situations, meeting in an extraordinary session, and was communicated through the School Inspectorate to all school principals and teachers.

In Neamt county as well, school classes will be suspended today in six educational establishments due to snowy roads, prefect Adrian-Vasile Nita said. The decision was taken after traffic was restricted on several county roads and children could not get to school.
