Government seeks solutions for weekend pay for defense and law enforcement workers

The Government announced last night that it is trying to find solutions for the payment of overtime worked on weekends and public holidays by defense and public order employees, as well as for military pensioners whose pensions have been wrongly calculated.

These legislative solutions will be promoted in Parliament at the beginning of the session, the executive promises.

As for the updating of military pensions, the Government will come up with amendments after the publication of the Constitutional Court's reasoning in the Official Gazette, government officials who met yesterday with representatives of trade unionists at the Victoria Palace also said.
