Gala for excellence in journalism

51 journalists who have worked in conflict zones over the past two years were honoured today at the Excellence in Journalism Awards.
The event, organised by the National Audiovisual Council at the National Theatre in the capital, is part of the Council of Europe's campaign to promote the protection and safety of media professionals.
Journalists who attended the gala reported on their experiences as war correspondents in Ukraine and Israel.
