Five years since the establishment of the Multinational Southeast Corps Command in Sibiu

The Multinational Southeast Corps Command in Sibiu is organizing several events on Tuesday and Wednesday to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of this NATO structure in Romania. On Tuesday, the “Sibiu Hall” was inaugurated, decorated with a huge fresco and several photographs depicting the city's past and present. Today, in the afternoon, there was an anniversary concert performed by the Army Representative Band and the Army's Doina Artistic Ensemble.
The celebrations will continue on Wednesday with a military ceremony in Piata Mare in the historic center of Sibiu. The Multinational Southeast Corps Command is part of the NATO Force Structure and provides command and control for the Alliance's land operations in peacetime, crises, and conflicts, with Romania and Bulgaria as its area of responsibility.
