Deputy Prime Minister Dragos Anastasiu - National Anti-Corruption Directorate accusations

President Nicusor Dan says that Deputy Prime Minister Dragos Anastasiu's past involvement in a corruption case investigated by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) is a big problem.
The head of state said he had not discussed the matter with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
Reports have appeared in the press that Dragos Anastasiu, in his past as a businessman, was a witness in the corruption case of former ANAF inspector Angela Burlacu and allegedly admitted to signing a fictitious contract through which he made payments to ANAF for eight years.
Anastasiu claims that he was only a witness in that case, but the DNA announced on Saturday that the businessman had officially acted as a whistleblower in the case, even though he did not actually sign a complaint.
