Cluj-Napoca subway project to be removed from the NRRP

The subway project in Cluj-Napoca will be removed from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and replaced by another ongoing investment, announced the Minister of Investment and European Projects, Adrian Caciu.
However, he added that other sources have already been identified to finance the Cluj metro.
Adrian Caciu: Financing has been found in the transport program and it will also be financed from "green" bonds issued by the Romanian state, in the sense of green transport. The Cluj metro will be taken out of the NRRP as an investment. The countervalue of the EUR 300 million will be moved to another investment which is already being carried out and is generating expenditure.
