Bikini Race in Paltinis - Entries have started

The most awaited contest dedicated exclusively to ladies ski and snowboard enthusiasts, Bikini Race, will take place on March 8 on one of the Arena slopes in the Sibiu resort of Paltinis.
Organizers have announced that online registrations for this unique competition, now in its 10th edition, have started. Competitors are challenged to pass different trials on skis or boards, dressed only in their bathing suits.
Their bravery and skill will be rewarded with prizes totalling more than €2.000, the organizers say.
This year's competitors will go through a series of six spectacular events, each designed to test their agility, skill, competitive spirit and sense of humor.
To start, the contestants will parade through the snow in their swimsuits and answer some mountain-themed questions from the judges.
Then comes the slalom time trial on skis or snowboard.
The fun will continue with the Limbo, where the ladies will have to gracefully glide under three poles of different heights.
There will also be a downhill sled trial, after which they will have to build an image of the ski resort's mascot, Palti, out of cubes.
Competitors will also show their agility in breaking balloons with darts, and at the end they will have to start a snowmobile against the clock.
