The Permanent Electoral Authority announced that on Friday, computer operators for the electoral offices of the polling stations organized for the local by-elections on December 7 were selected by lottery.
The election campaign for the mayor of the capital begins on Saturday and will end on December 6 at 7:00 a.m.
There are 18 candidates in the race, but according to polls, the competition will be between Daniel Baluta from PSD, Ciprian Ciucu from PNL, and Catalin Drula from USR.
Independent candidate Anca Alexandrescu, supported by AUR, is also among the top four.
The election campaign for the leadership of the Buzau County Council and the mayors of 13 localities will take place during the same period.
