An unregistered drone was picked up on Tuesday near the Boboc military base in Buzau county. The presence of the object in an uninhabited area was reported to the emergency number 112 by a local.

The soldiers who took the drone brought it to a secure area for analysis. It was not carrying dangerous objects or substances and appears to have been used for smuggling, according to unofficial experts, who said it resembled a similar drone that had crashed in Botosani county.
