A new photovoltaic park will be built in Dobrun, Olt County

A new photovoltaic park will be built in Dobrun, Olt County, by a company controlled by a Lithuanian investment fund. According to the authorities, the total financing amounts to €72 million, including a €36 million loan, which is to be validated next month by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The photovoltaic park will have a capacity of 174 megawatts, which places it among the largest solar projects currently under development in Romania. With this investment, the Dobrun area is entering the regional green energy map in a context where demand for sustainable energy production is growing, RRA correspondent Laura Stoican informed us.
