Parliament is due to adopt a declaration on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis

Host: Nicoleta Turcu - Parliament is due to adopt a joint declaration today on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, announced the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu. The Social Democrat leader said that the document will also contain elements of the sanctions imposed on Russia at European Union level.

Marcel Ciolacu: I spoke with President Florin Citu and we convened a joint plenary together for a statement by the Romanian Parliament regarding the events in Ukraine. What is happening in Ukraine in 2022 is unacceptable. A sovereign state is under attack and, at this moment, we are all watching without intervening more firmly.
