International competition for the rehabilitation of a central area in Oradea

Oradea City Hall will launch on May 27 an international competition of architectural projects for the arrangement of an urban area in the center of the city, located above a recently built underground parking lot.

Vice-Mayor Mircea Malan stated on Wednesday, May 20, that the goal of this project is finding the best solution for arranging the pedestrian space between Independentei Street and Crisul Repede River.

The international competition will take place exclusively online, on the City Hall's website. Questions can be sent until June 3, registration closes on June 5, and designs can be sent until July 6.

A virtual exhibition with all the registered projects will be organized until July 15. The first three will be awarded certain amounts of money and the winner will have full material support.
