Messages on the occasion of Navy Day

The Naval Forces of Romania continue the tradition of the forerunners, acting in the interest of the nation and guarantee the safety of borders, as well as fluvial and maritime security - states Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca, in the message sent on the occasion of the Romanian Navy Day.
He says he will support the modernization programs of the Romanian Army, as the conflict near the borders emphasizes, once again, the need for Romania to have an army equipped with the latest equipment.
The promise is reinforced by the Minister of Defense, Vasile Dancu: "We are convinced that, starting from next year, the Romanian Navy Day will find the Naval Forces better equipped and prepared than this year" - he writes in his message.
