Incentive program for entrepreneurs

Romanian companies can make their products known and can even expand abroad through a new program designed for the first time to help entrepreneurs - said Ilan Laufer, Secretary of State at the Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.
The budget for this year is 5 million lei, and the one planned for 2018 reaches 20 million lei.
Ilan Laufer: It is a program with an own contribution of 10% and a maximum grant of 50,000 lei that the Romanian State will give to a large number of companies, and I think that from next year on, we will even increase the budget for this new program. The main purpose and the main difference is that this internationalization program enables Romanian companies to use this budget to prepare themselves to participate in economic missions, fairs, conferences, to go and present their products and services. And not only this, but also to build a platform and presentation so that Romanian companies can enter and have a high performance and a faster penetration in some markets.
According to RRA Reporter Florentina Varga, 80 companies will be selected in the first phase and only 30 of them will be supported for export through this program.
