ICAR: Raed Arafat urges people to insure their goods
Latest statistics indicate that only 20% of Romanians' homes are secured.

Head of Romanian Department for Emergency Situations, Secretary of State dr.Raed Arafat, urges people to insure their goods, especially given the fact that climate change causes intense effects.
Insurers must work correctly, in order to increase confidence in this system, Arafat said during the 15th edition of ICAR – International Catastrophic Risks Forum – held in Bucharest on 9 October.
Raed Arafat also recommended using the applications especially created to warn in case of emergency, such as DSU and RoAlert.
