Dave Evans, Mike Terrana at Romania’s STONEBIRD Rock Festival 10-12 August

Original AC/DC vocalist, Australian Dave Evans and legendary American drummer Mike Terrana are performing on Saturday evening at Romania’s STONEBIRD Rock Festival, an exceptional event that starts on Friday, 10 August, at 18:30, on the hills above Corbii De Piatră village, Argeș County, about 90 minutes from Bucharest.
Other rock bands that will perform at the Festival are BLACK - Serbia's number one Metallica tribute band offers an incendiary show that will bring you closer to the legend of rock music, PARTIZAN - probably the most controversial and spectacular band in Romania, ZOB - punk rock (Romania), MY QUEEN, successful project of charismatic Romanian artist DAN HELCIUG, WOLVE - a new project by bassist and music producer Alex Calancea (Chișinău, Republic of Moldova), with a fusion of rock, trap, authentic folk and urban, UNIFORM (Romania), with a mix of old school punk combined with highly synthesized sound, BUCIUM (Romania) – with a folk-rock-ambient sound.
STONEBIRD Rock Festival 2018, at its first edition, is organized with the support of City Hall of Corbii de Piatră, a village hosting a unique monastic rupestral cave, build inside a mountain. View is spectacular, all green, close to the highest mountains in Romania (Moldoveanu Peak, 2544 m), and local people are happy to welcome their guests with traditional Romanian specialties. Rock fans will enjoy relaxation, fresh air, natural food, camping, mountain hikes, campfire, music, rock, history and local traditions.
“I don’t normally get excited before shows, but before this one I am excited, because I love the location, it is really something special”, Evans recently told local media, after visiting the site.
“Whole local community is contributing to this Festival. On Sunday, the last day of the Festival, all villagers will come out with traditional foods or handmade souvenirs, so that their guests can leave with something special from this place. We want to lighten the place with tradition, to make something beautiful out of it”, said Mihai Căpeț, one of STONEBIRD organizers.
