Energy talks between President Nicusor Dan and European Council President Antonio Costa

President Nicusor Dan advocates for a longer transition in the European Union regarding the implementation of green energy policies, so that they are sustainable and do not negatively affect the economy. This is one of the priorities that Romania will advocate for in the discussions that European leaders will have at next week's informal meeting in Brussels.

In a conversation today with European Council President Antonio Costa, the head of state also said that Bucharest wants a genuine European energy market through the interconnection of networks, so that Romanians pay reasonable bills.
