The Chamber of Deputies adopted the Government's draft on the payment of private pensions

The Chamber of Deputies adopted by majority vote, in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court, the Government's draft on the payment of private pensions.

The Deputies retained the form adopted in the Senate, which eliminates the exception in the case of patients with oncological diseases. They can no longer benefit from the entire amount through a single withdrawal from the pension pillar.

Beneficiaries can initially collect a maximum of 30% of the accumulated funds, with the rest of the money to be paid in installments over a period of eight years.

The Chamber of Deputies is very decisive in this case, and the normative act will be sent to the President of Romania for promulgation.
