PSD proposes "measures to stimulate industrial production"

The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, presented the measures proposed by PSD in the field, which would stimulate industrial production in Romania, among them, facilities for companies to use natural gas and one for strategic investments.

"Facilities for companies that use natural gas as a raw material in a proportion of over 30% of the final cost of products - this element comes against the background that Romania has already become the largest producer of natural gas in the entire European Union; the creation of a fund for strategic investments in on-site electricity production capacities - here I am referring to nuclear, Reactors 3 and 4 from Cernavoda, the Small Modular Reactors projects that have already started to have very strong feasibility studies behind them and are now being worked on, and new gas-fired electricity production capacities", said Bogdan Ivan.

The measures in the energy field are part of the economic recovery package proposed by the Social Democrats.
