On next week's Parliament agenda are several legislative initiatives awaiting adoption.
These include the bill on the exemption of mothers from paying health insurance contributions or the one that modifies the private pension payment system, amended by senators, as transmitted by RRA reporter Amalia Bojescu: "In the Senate, the legislative proposals initiated by PSD that eliminate the payment of social health insurance contributions for mothers on parental leave, as well as for veterans, former political prisoners and monastic personnel are entering the debate of the Budget Committee, after receiving favorable opinions from senators in the labor and health committees. The measure was also supported by AUR, while PNL and USR parliamentarians abstained from voting.
In the Chamber of Deputies, the bill amended by senators on the withdrawal of money from private pension funds will enter the debate of the specialized committees. According to the adopted amendments, patients with oncological diseases will have the right to fully recover the money upon request in a single installment. The Chamber of Deputies is also the decision-making body in the case of the draft law that will regulate the access of minors up to 16 years of age to major online platforms, but also to a certain type of content on the internet.”
