Nine candidates in the race for the Mayor's Office

Nine candidates are entering the electoral race for the post of the Capital's mayor on 9 June.
According to the decisions of the Electoral Bureau of Bucharest, the candidates Gabriela Firea - PSD, Sebastian Burduja - PNL, Nicusor Dan - independent, Cristian Victor Popescu Piedone - PUSL, Diana Sosoaca Iovanovici - S.O.S. Romania, Dorin Iacob - Right Alternative Party, Mihai Adrian Enache - AUR, Alexandru Panisoara - Romanian Ecologist Party and Filip Constantin Titian - independent were admitted.
Two candidacies were rejected: Dorel Constantin Onaca from PRM and the independent candidacy of Vasile Iustiuc.
The decisions of the Electoral Bureau can be contested within 48 hours from the date of posting.
