New cases of people infected with SARS-COV-2 in several counties in Romania

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The National Institute of Public Health informed that in the first week of this year 40% of COVID-19 cases were registered in Bucharest and in Cluj, Brasov, Constanta and Bihor counties. Between 1-7 January, 2.525 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were detected and 26 deaths were reported. Half of the deaths were in Bihor, Arad, Maramures, Salaj and Bucharest, in people not vaccinated against COVID, according to the weekly surveillance report of the National Institute of Statistics.
