First measures to separate EU and non-EU truck flows to be communicated

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - A new round of talks on the creation of separate flows for EU and non-EU trucks took place on Tuesday between the transport minister, the management of the Road Company and representatives of road transport employers. The first measures for the separation of flows are due to be announced this week, when the draft order of the transport minister on the adjustment of tariffs charged by the Road Company will be put out for public consultation. The creation of special flows for trucks from EU and non-EU countries, as well as a reduction in the road tax and other charges that truck drivers have to pay, were the main demands of Romanian hauliers who protested last month.
