EU Budget Commissioner visits Romania

The European Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud, Fight against Fraud and Public Administration, Piotr Serafin, is visiting Romania on Thursday and Friday.
The visit is part of the European Commission's consultations ahead of the presentation of the EU's next long-term budget in July.
On Thursday, in Bucharest, the EU official will meet interim President Ilie Bolojan, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and several ministers.
He will also hold talks with business people and investor groups to hear their views on how current EU funding is working.
On Friday, the Commissioner will travel to Oradea, where he will visit important infrastructure projects, such as the county hospital and the airport, realised with EU funds.
