The government approved the decision to extend the state of alert by 30 days. The extension started today - 09.15.2020.
The document provides for several measures regarding the course of the election campaign, voting day, but also rules that provide for meetings and demonstrations within the limit of 100 people, in compliance with hygiene rules.
Secretary of State Raed Arafat specified that a joint order of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be issued, with the approval of the Electoral Authority, which will establish the rules in the polling stations. Some obligations will include: the disinfection of the hands at the entrance and exit of the polling station and the introduction of identity cards by computer.
