"Russian military plane" in Allied airspace west of the Black Sea

NATO's Black Sea airspace surveillance and control system detected today the presence of a Russian military aircraft in Allied airspace west of the Black Sea.
According to the procedures, NATO military aircraft were launched from Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria, in order to determine the respective plane to leave the area.
Such actions are the result of a professional and coordinated approach to NATO airspace surveillance in south-eastern Europe.
