Romanian singer and composer Mihai Constantinescu (73) died on October 29, after five-month coma at the Floreasca Emergency Hospital in Bucharest, following a heart attack.
Mihai Constantinescu was one of the best-known Romanian traditional singers and composers. Born on January 4, 1946, he graduated the Sports Institute in Bucharest, after completing the Popular Art School. On Thursday, President Klaus Iohannis has signed a decree that decorates singer Mihai Constantinescu posthumously, in recognition for his long, dedicated career in music.
Mihai Constantinescu will be buried today at 14:00 at the Ghencea Cemetery in Bucharest.
